Fixed blades

There are a variety of fixed blades that I make including Bowie & Camp Knives, Skinners, Traditional Japanese Blades, Letter Openers & Such, Axes, Spears & Weapons of Mass Destruction.

Bowies & Camp Knives

Working primitive camp knives and Bowies have carbon steel blades and start around $350. Upgrades are limited to simple file work and guards. I've made some of these with pewter fittings. Damascus steel blades can add a lot to the look of the knife, but do cost more. I enjoy making these frontier knives for the Black Powder crowd. I try to attend one or two RDVs a year.
Damascus Bowies and camp knives start at $1,200 and increase in price depending on blade complexity and choice of handle material. These blades can range from fairly simple to extremely complex.

I make axes in tomahawk and European styles. Prices start at $600 and move up from there depending on the complexity of Damascus and ornamentation.
Weapons of mass destruction are priced on request. Incorporating nuclear devices into weapons adds a fair amount to cost. If you have an idea call me. If I can't make it in your price range, I probably know someone who can.
